Easter 2014!

We had a great Easter last Sunday!

We have been going to a church regularly now for a few months and really enjoying it! It has been so good for us and I love that Ethan and Elly are enjoying it and learning about God as well. 

So, Sunday morning, we went to the 8:30 am service and then while Matt went home with the kids, I stayed for the 10:00 service to help out in the nursery.  This was my second Sunday helping and I am really enjoying it:)

After that service, Matt came and picked me up and then we headed to my parents' house for the day:)

So, we spent the first bit of being there sitting and chatting on the back porch. My dad had my phone and said, "selfie time" or something like that haha and we took a selfie! It was so funny!! I think I resemble my dad so much, especially in this picture, it's crazy;) 

That time I sat on my little sister's lap and asked my dad to take a picture of us haha!

Every year, my mom makes this bunny cake for Easter, so last year we started the tradition of Ethan and Elly decorating it:)

I walked outside and saw my dad sitting on the deck with Elly and she was telling him a story about a dog. My dad asked how big the dog was and she did that and said, "it was 45" haha

Then my grandparents came and had a present for Elly (a couple dresses) and they got Ethan the foosball table.

Eggs Are Dropping!!

Yesterday, Ethan's class had an "Egg Drop". Each student needed to make something to put a raw egg in and they dropped the eggs from the second story to see if they could keep them from breaking. Elly and I went in to watch the class:)

Easter Play Date: Part 2

Last week while Ethan was out for Spring Break, we went to our friends' house for an Easter Egg Hunt! You can read Part 1 here.

So, I finally got the pictures uploaded of the kids outside, enjoy!:).......

After the egg hunt, we continued to play outside awhile because the weather was so nice!!

Ethan was so excited that Landen is old enough to start playing ball with him:) 

Spring School Pictures:)

Last month, Ethan's school had Spring pictures taken. I was able to take Elly, too, and get her picture taken with Ethan.
Well, they came back yesterday and I definitely had some good laughs. I wanted to share the pictures:)

First, I will start with the Ethan funnies...

I mean...seriously! I cracked up for the longest time looking at these. He looks so awkward and "staged" haha!!
